This piece is part of the series Thirty Three, made while commuting to the artist’s studio on the bus. The piece is an exercise in accepting imperfections that arise along a journey, and the artist painted over some parts of the drawings in order to create a dialogue between the reflective and the uninhibited. It features clean lines alongside messier ones drawn while on the bus.
